I like the store, but the employees are not the friendliest, especially one lady who makes the lunch counter. Snaps at you if you ask her a question, she will not make eye contact with you, and seems to throw you a sandwich at you. Also, the checkout people, if they even talk to you, may say something like have a good one. What is a good one?
The deli is just superb, and is worth the wait, if there is any line that is!
Make sure to snatch a rotisserie chicken before they're all gone!
This is one of the better Market Baskets in the area. However, they usually get a little stingy with their returns, so make sure you bring your posse and best "b*+$& face" you can bring to the table. We love it when the seafood goes on sale for reasonable prices. The deli has great-tasting cheeses and meats. The pasta is great here too. And the butcher is great with a lot of choice in meats. It's amazing how they're capable of packing and moving so much food.
Best place to go food shopping-period, or at least in my opinion.

They also have bags of gourmet cookies that are the bee's knees, the ones made by themselves, near Market's Kitchen!

Shopped at market basket for years. Never has a manager on the floor ever said hello. They do not have the courtesy to even look you in the eye. Are they trained that way. All other staff on the floor act the same way. Terrible customer service. Btw. I cannot stand the checkout person saying " have a good one". Can you explain what a good one is? Can't they say have a good day. Other grocery chains have customer service that make you feel good. You should change the culture.
